{"id":134226,"date":"2017-08-13T18:26:50","date_gmt":"2017-08-14T00:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/?p=134226"},"modified":"2017-08-13T18:26:50","modified_gmt":"2017-08-14T00:26:50","slug":"hes-alive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2017\/08\/13\/hes-alive.html","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;He&#8217;s Alive&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rod Serling hated bigotry and prejudice with the fire of a burning sun, and, as a WW2 vet (serving in the Pacific) born into a Jewish family, he had an abiding hatred for fascism.<\/p>\n<p>I find his Twilight Zone episode &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/He%27s_Alive\">He&#8217;s Alive<\/a>&#8221; &#8212; where a bush league American Neo-Nazi gets coaching from a shadowy figure who has a certain &#8230; way with words &#8212; to be a bit too on-the-nose.
