Xircom introduces an 802.11b sled for the Palm m500<\/a>. Which means that you can do wireless networking with your handheld anywhere that has an available 802.11b network.<\/p>\n

Now, I really don’t want to do e-mail on my Palm (which isn’t an m500, but let’s leave that aside). Or web browsing. And while I have an 802.11b network at home, I don’t see it as something I’d do much with related to my Palm.<\/p>\n

But, damn<\/i>, I’ve got a jones for this widget. Sort of like an expensive sports car that I know I won’t fit into (let alone afford), it just pushes all my techno-geek buttons. <\/p>\n
