Denver International Airport (“DEN” to folk who prefer the actual airport code) originally floated the idea of the Denver buffalo herd grazing alongside the airport entrance road, Pena Blvd., back during its original design, but nothing ever came of that plan.<\/p>\n

But, since then, the herd roaming about the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge has been growing, and that facility and the City of Denver are pursuing plans to let the herd “roam” up to the edges of Pena Blvd where it runs near the RMAWR border.<\/p>\n

That’ll be very cool.<\/p>\n
