Both federal and state courts have made it clear that students attending college in a given state have the right to vote in that state.<\/p>\n

New Hampshire GOP’s current response is, “Sure. Here’s how much extra it will cost you.”<\/p>\n

It’s unlikely that the New Hampshire law will stand up courts scrutiny … but who ever can really be certain? And, in the meantime, it will add a layer of uncertainty for a group of voters that the Republicans are always looking to suppress or discourage.<\/p>\n
