It was an intellectual exercise that never inceived an emotional connection. On the positive side, the worldbuilding and mind-messing-with (both in-movie and of the viewer) are delightfully done. The film succeeded in pulling me in to the extent that I wanted to understand how things worked, what the IMF, er, thieves were doing in their caper, and how it would affect the individuals.
