Here’s what the stuidos thought the Solo<\/i> audience would be interested in …<\/p>\n

Robin Hood<\/i><\/b> — Oh, dear Lord in Heaven, it’s Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves<\/i> meets Assassin’s Creed<\/i> meets King Arthur: Legend of the Sword<\/i> meets Kingsman,<\/i> with an excess of bullet time shots, some awful-looking archery, and a bizarre anachronistic mixture of contemporary dress and medieval stuff. Good God, no.<\/p>\n

Adrift<\/i><\/b> — This trailer about shipwrecked-at-sea survival drama focused more on her than him, this time around. I still have no desire to see it.<\/p>\n

The Sisters Brothers<\/i><\/b> — An offbeat Western comedy? I guess? Pass.<\/p>\n

Mission Impossible: Fall Out<\/i><\/b> — I don’t know if this is precisely the same trailer I have previously seen, but it didn’t bring anything new to the table. This one’s for streaming a year from now.<\/p>\n

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom<\/i><\/b> — Same as last one I saw. I’ll catch up with this series. Some day. I do like the music.<\/p>\n

Mowgli<\/i><\/b> — I presume Kipling has fallen into Public Domain, as I am pretty sure we didn’t need another live-action Jungle Book<\/i> movie so close to the Disney release, but are getting one anyway. Voice cast of very prominent actors, but the trailer is kind of a hot mess.<\/p>\n

Ant-Man and the Wasp<\/i><\/b> — Previously seen trailer, still eager for its arrival.<\/p>\n

Incredibles 2<\/i><\/b> — Previously seen trailer, still eager for its arrival.<\/p>\n

Oh, and before the trailers formally started, there was a featurette about Crazy Rich Asians,<\/i> a rom-com about just what it says on the tin, which I will also be passing on.<\/p>\n

Anyone have some good reasons for me to change my mind about any of the above?<\/p>\n
