… remember this particular case, where a judge ruled that ICE had out-and-out lied about a DACA immigrant being a gang member as a justification for deporting him — even when plenty of evidence was presented to refute the assertion, and none was presented to support it, and ICE nevertheless still<\/i> insisted that this individual was a gang member<\/p>\n

Are there illegal immigrant gang members? Sure. But is this fact used as a convenient tool to justify deportations of people who aren’t actually gang members? That also seems, from this case, clear.<\/p>\n
