Quoth Donald, the President of the United States.<\/p>\n

Trump made the remarks in an Oval Office interview with the Daily Caller hours after his Supreme Court nominee, Brett M. Kavanaugh, was greeted by protests on the first day of his confirmation hearings on Capitol Hill. \u201cI don\u2019t know why they don\u2019t take care of a situation like that,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI think it\u2019s embarrassing for the country to allow protesters. You don\u2019t even know what side the protesters are on.\u201d He added: \u201cIn the old days, we used to throw them out. Today, I guess they just keep screaming.\u201d<\/p>\n

More than 70 people were arrested after they repeatedly heckled Kavanaugh and senators at Tuesday\u2019s hearing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I guess Donald didn’t quite get the line in his Presidential oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Which includes, of course, that embarrassing “freedom of speech” part.<\/p>\n
