  1. As you know, you can register at Gravatar<\/a> to upload a photo that will be used by this and other Gravatar-aware sites as the icon next to your name. Rather than use little generic gray blank avatars for those who choose not to do so, I’ve set up WP to use Wavatars<\/a> when people don’t have a Gravatar. This will generate a little icon on your behalf that will stick with your email address when you post comments here. (No, there’s not a way to change what’s been assigned to you — though if you create a Gravatar, it will override it.)<\/li>\n
  2. I’ve updated the Recent Comments to use the Get Recent Comments<\/a> plug-in group them (as in my previous DDtB incarnation) showing the most recently commented-upon posts and the most recent commenter following.<\/li>\n
  3. I’ve replicated the little subheaders that used to appear at the top of my blog using XmasB Quotes<\/a>. Now they appear at the top of the sidebar, randomly selected on page load.<\/li>\n
  4. I’ve added in the old Unblogged Bits (Google Reader shared posts), and my Blogrolls (also from Google Reader). I also have a plug-in that’s tracking the Top Ten<\/a> most frequently accessed posts; we’ll see what that drums up.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
