For all that Americans supposedly pay attention to their taxes, they seem to have very little understanding of how American taxation works. Which, given that the tax structure is once again under very interesting scrutiny, means there's a lot of information out there.<\/p>\n

Okay, kiddo, so you get to eat all of the first scoop of your ice cream. Go ahead and enjoy every drop.<\/p>\n

Now, for your second scoop, I eat 15% of it. That’s just a spoonful. But you eat most of it first. Thanks, I’m actually going to give my spoonful to that poor girl there who has no ice cream at all. Isn’t that nice?<\/p>\n

Okay, honey, I know you are getting full, but go ahead and eat most of your third scoop, too; just leave me 22% of it. Great. Hey, I think I’ll give these spoonfuls to those other kids who don’t have any ice cream.
What? You don’t want any of your fourth scoop? Well, I’ll take 37% of it, but rest is for you. Go ahead. Actually, you get most of the next 10 scoops too. And of the 1000 after that. And the of the 10,000 scoops after that.
And @AOC says that anyone who gets more than 10 truckloads of ice cream a day, should have to give 70% of the 11th truckload to charity.<\/p>\n
