The five ways, by the way, are:<\/p>\n

  1. Change Blindness <\/strong>(we don’t notice when things change, even when it’s before our eyes).<\/li>\n
  2. Saccadic Masking <\/strong>(we don’t notice blurs of motion in our vision, blacking them out instead — and then not noticing the blackouts).<\/li>\n
  3. Proprioception <\/strong>(our extremely fallible sense of where our body parts are).<\/li>\n
  4. Cryptomnesia <\/strong>(our brains plagiarize a lot).<\/li>\n
  5. Subconscious Behavior <\/strong>(our brains make a lot of guesses we’re not aware of, a lot of them wrong).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
