No, not metaphysically, but what happens to the online you? All your Internet stuff? How about your blog, chronicling your life? Your Facebook with all those contacts? Your email account with business correspondence and this year&#8217;s tax info and all those people who should be informed? Your Quicken and online bill-paying service? Your Flickr site with all of those old family pictures? Presuming anyone cares, will anyone know what&#8217;s out there? Will anyone know how to get to it, what the passwords are, etc.?<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s where <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legacylocker.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Legacy Locker<\/a> comes in, a new service ($30\/yr, $300 for &#8220;lifetime&#8221;) that lets you store your online account info (sites, usernames, passwords), with instructions&nbsp;on who should be informed.<\/p>\n<p>I suppose you could compile this info yourself, and in either case you need to leave instructions on it in your safe or with your attorney or something. But I can see this as being a convenient service, assuming a start-up will last longer than you do.<\/p>\n<p>Something more to ponder in the estate planning field.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What happens to you after you die?
