That is, it&#8217;s a year in which the first two digits, &#8217;20&#8217;, are reversed to make the last two digits, &#8217;02.&#8217; Since the year 1000 A.D. there have been only 10 other such years: 1001, 1111, 1221, 1331, 1441, 1551, 1661, 1771, 1881, and 1991. Except for the 11 years between 1991 and 2002, all the other reversible years are 110 years apart. <br \/>\nIn other words, it will take another 1000 years before two reversible years will squeeze together within an average human lifespan, as they have with 1991 and 2002.
