There are a number of blog pages which have the little “Click here to donate a pittance via Amazon.” I read some of these. Some of them I read regularly (per the Link List o’ Regular Reading, off to the left). <\/p>\n
Do I owe them my support?<\/p>\n
‘Twouldn’t be much. But it might be nice to do. Might give someone a real feel more tangible than Hit Counts that folks not only like what they see, but want to see it continue.<\/p>\n
I’ve vaguely considered doing something similar here. For me, though, it would just feel too pretentious. Besides, in many ways, I do this for me.<\/i> It would be like asking people to pay to watch me … ah, do something self-indulgent.<\/p>\n
Somehow, though, it doesn’t feel that way when visiting elsewhere.<\/p>\n
