My parents are taking their annual driving trip out to Colorado, arriving today, departing on Tuesday, so I’m working from the home office today, tidying up between (and during) phone conferences.<\/p>\n

It is probably a mark of our comfort levels all around that we have pretty much nothing planned. Well, that’s not quite true — I know where we’re going for dinner tonight. And I know that tomorrow is Bring Your Kid To Work day, and how that’s fitting in with their schedule. And I think we’ll be scheduling a BBQ\/Game Day over the weekend to invite folks over.<\/p>\n

But that level of planning is just short of anarchy when compared to ansgsting prior to trips past. Which is a good thing. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Though it occurs to me that I should make sure the guest bed is made. And maybe vacuum a bit before they get here. Hmmm, the windows are looking kind of dirty. Maybe run out for some flowers …<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
