Nice room, nice hotel, nice view. Alas, arrived after all restaurants closed. Stupid time zones.  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1899886980\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Slept like rocks for 8 hrs. DAK cushy queens trump mid-range doubles for the win. Even though the ladies snore. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1902875203\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Breakfast buffet at Boma: less African than dinner, but yummy. Excellent sausage curry. Fully sated. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1903191141\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>So broadband avaialble at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but at $10\/day, I might settle for one mid-week login. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1903399518\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Broadband avaialble at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but at $10\/day, might settle for one mid-week login, tho AT&amp;T EDGE sketchy here. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1903400311\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Watched-for shuttle busses never arrive. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1904054865\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>For a Memorial Day Saturday, not wildly crowded at #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a> Disney&#8217;s Animal Kingdom (DAK). Temps hot but manageable.  Many fans blowing.  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1904591322\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The line for Expedition Everest at DAK is very long, but the set dressing is wonderful, and the shade foliage has grown quickly. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1905263986\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Enjoying the overcast and breeze breaking up the heat &#8211; which means there&#8217;s a thunderstorm a-brewin&#8217;, Ma! #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1905349081\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Quality of tee designs at Expedition Everest wildly improved. Tempted, even tho the last thing I need is another tee. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1905610541\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>And then, the deluge. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1905986095\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>There is, quite clearly, a reason why this area is a swamp. And it&#8217;s not due to run-off from the mountains. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1906038899\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Kali River Rapids appears to be running down the sidewalk in front of me at the moment. Hoping the storm system has a &#8220;fast pass.&#8221; #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1906087722\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Half hour later, worst seems over. Wandering off for damp adventure. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1906262245\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Safari ride at DAK is back open. Line, not surprisingly, is nice and short. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1906488225\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Post-storm upside: park nearly deserted. Downside: major outside rides closed due to lightning in area. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1906987758\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>But Dinosaur is a walk-on at DAK. That&#8217;s not too bad. And Primeval Whirl is back opwn and walk-on. #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1907189216\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>End of a long day at DAK. Gorgeous sunset. Back to the AK Lodge, freshen up, 9p reservations at Boma. Yum! #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a>  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1907469831\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Boma at #<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%23wdw\">wdw<\/a> Animal Kingdom Lodge is very high on the list of eateries I wish would move to Denver. I could eat there every night this week.  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/1908508026\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>So walked about 6.5 miles around DAK today &#8211; almost as much outside. Dog tired, so to speak.
