It&#8217;s going for about $1200. (<a href=\"http:\/\/usa.asus.com\/products.aspx?l1=5&amp;l2=61&amp;l3=776&amp;l4=0&amp;model=3026&amp;modelmenu=1\" target=\"_blank\">Vendor<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestbuy.com\/site\/olspage.jsp?skuId=9366615&amp;type=product&amp;id=1218092150740\" target=\"_blank\">Best Buy<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/shopper.cnet.com\/notebooks\/asus-g71gx-rx05\/4014-3121_9-33695862.html?zip=80112&amp;x=17&amp;y=10#info-1\" target=\"_blank\">CNET<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>The reviews have been pretty positive except for (a) things I don&#8217;t explictly care about and (b) an early BIOS bug that caused problems when the video processor got hot. This last item has skewed the ratings for the machines; factoring those out since the issue was fixed it&#8217;s got very good user scores.<\/p>\n<p>So my question is this: anyone out there in DDtBland have experience with ASUS that might sway my decision one way or the other on this?
