Now that we’ve finished what I’ve read in the past, how about what I’m reading now?<\/p>\n

I’d do something a little different — but, honestly, I’m not firing on a couple of cylinders here.<\/p>\n

Action <\/em>#878 <\/em><\/strong>(DC) Rucka\/Olmos<\/em>: Alas, Rucka’s gritty outlook doesn’t fit in with the Superman world, even during the “World without Superman” arc. Plus, multiple Kryptonians running around and soldiers running after them — not all that interesting.<\/p>\n

Agents of ATLAS <\/em>#8<\/strong> (Marvel) Parker\/Pagulayan:<\/em> This has turned out to be a pretty darned interesting title, with some fun protagonists and the interesting world setting (the erstwhile machinations of the Yellow Claw).<\/p>\n

Anna Mercury 2<\/em> #1<\/strong> (Avatar) Ellis\/Percio:<\/em> Giant powered leaps through space to other nearby inhabited planets! And that’s not even the cool part! Ellis on imagination overload.<\/p>\n

Astonishing X-Men<\/em> #30 <\/strong>(Marvel) Ellis\/Bianchi:<\/em> But here Ellis is trying to be really clever and imaginative and pushing the characters around in directions they don’t want to go. Not so much. I specifically subscribed to this title for his joining. My mistake.<\/p>\n

Avengers: The Initiative<\/em> #26<\/strong> (Marvel) Gage\/Sandoval:<\/em> I am marginally enjoying some marginally interesting characters. Not sure that’s worth the price.<\/p>\n

Avengers \/ Invaders <\/em>#12 (of 12)<\/strong> (Marvel\/Dynamite) Ross+Krueger \/ Sadowski+Herbert:<\/em> Final end to a cross-over time-travel cosmic-cube even that should probably should have been shorter.<\/p>\n
