1. What time did you get up this morning?
\n<\/strong>4:10 a.m. Far earlier than I should have<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2. How do you like your steak?<\/strong>
\nI used to be on the medium side of medium rare, but now, thanks to Margie’s savage ways, I’m happy with it warmed through and still reddish-pink. Tear me off another haunch of zebra, honey!.<\/p>\n

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
\n<\/strong>Up<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

4. What is your favorite TV show?<\/strong>
\nI probably watch more Daily Show <\/em>than anything else — but Doctor Who <\/em>is most likely to preempt other stuff.<\/p>\n

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?<\/strong>
\nPretty darned happy right where I am. But there are a lot of places I’d like to visit.<\/p>\n

6. What did you have for breakfast?
\n<\/strong>A couple of cups of coffee.<\/p>\n

7. What is your favorite cuisine?
\n<\/strong>Steak. Followed closely by Mexican. Italian and Indian both rate highly as well.<\/p>\n

8. What foods do you dislike?
\n<\/strong>Raw tomatoes. Bananas. Avocados. (My mom weeps.)<\/p>\n

9. Favorite Place to Eat?
\n<\/strong>Probably at home, but some favorite nice restaurants in the area include Pesce Fresco, The Fort, The Buckhorn Exchange, Le Central, and Macaroni Grill or Brewery Bar III for “comfort food.”<\/p>\n

10. Favorite dressing?
\n<\/strong>French. Caesar comes in close. I dislike creamy white Ranch-like thing, though — stuff based on milk or yogurt or mayo, etc.<\/p>\n

11.What kind of vehicle do you drive?<\/strong>
\n2003 Subaru Impreza WRX. Or a 2000 Toyota Sienna.<\/p>\n

12. What are your favorite clothes?
\n<\/strong>Given my inability to give any of them up, my ever-burgeoning t-shirt collection. With shorts.<\/p>\n

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance?<\/strong>
\nAnywhere in the British Isles. Greece. Turkey. Italy. France. Japan. But there are a lot of interesting places all over, including within the US.<\/p>\n

14. Cup 1\/2 empty or 1\/2 full?
\n<\/strong>Half-full, usually.<\/p>\n

15. Where would you want to retire?
\n<\/strong>Kinda like it right here.<\/p>\n

16. Favorite time of day?
\n<\/strong>Around 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

17. Where were you born?
\n<\/strong>In the Palo Alto area, Calif.<\/p>\n

18. What is your favorite sport to watch?
\n<\/strong>Not much into watching sports, to be honest. Football (American), perhaps, or volleyball (either style).<\/p>\n

19. Who do you think will not tag you back?
\n<\/strong>I don’t generally tag people, nor do I expect them to tag me back.<\/p>\n

20. Person you expect to tag you back first?
\n<\/strong>See #19<\/p>\n

21. Who are you most curious about their responses to this?
\n<\/strong>Any of my friends.<\/p>\n

22. Bird watcher?
\n<\/strong>I enjoy seeing the birds at our feeder on the deck, and I like seeing and hearing them in general. I’m not much into organized birding, though.<\/p>\n

23. Are you a morning person or a night person?
\n<\/strong>Night. Which makes how early I generally get up darned annoying.<\/p>\n

24. Do you have any pets?
\n<\/strong>Two cats, at present.<\/p>\n

25. Any new and exciting news you’d like to share?
\n<\/strong>Going to the San Diego Comic-Con next summer. That should be fun.<\/p>\n

26. What did you want to be when you were little?<\/strong>
\nA “scientist.” A teacher. A computer programmer. Two out of three ain’t bad …<\/p>\n

27. What is your best childhood memory?
\n<\/strong>Wandering amongst the trees and waterfall at a camp ground near Diamond Lake, Oregon. Just one of many.<\/p>\n

28. Are you a cat or dog person?<\/strong>
\nI enjoy dogs, but don’t want to take pack responsibility. So definitely cats.<\/p>\n

29. Are you married?
\n<\/strong>Happily and gloriously and deliriously.<\/p>\n

30. Always wear your seat belt?<\/strong>
\nForce of habit. Like my wallet not being in my pocket, driving without a seat belt feels “off.”<\/p>\n

31. Been in a car accident?
\n<\/strong>I’ve been rear-ended a few times, and vice-versa. I skidded off an on-ramp once and down a hill — that was darned exciting. Nothing injuring, however.<\/p>\n

32. Any pet peeves?<\/strong>
\nCountless. That’s one reason I enjoy using Twitter<\/a>, so I can immediately Tweet about them.<\/p>\n

33. Favorite Pizza Toppings?
\n<\/strong>Pepperoni and mushroom. Garlic. Spice sauce. Onions. Most veggies — not fruit, though. And not too much topping, either.<\/p>\n

34. Favorite Flower?<\/strong>
\nIris.<\/p>\n

35. Favorite ice cream?
\n<\/strong>Rum Raisin. Praline Pecan. Mint Chip. Dulce de Leche \/ Caramel. Cinnamon. Actually, pretty much everything but “nut” ice creams and “fruit” ice creams. I tend to prefer Haagen Dazs to Ben & Jerry’s, but Boulder Dairy is the best. Mmmmm … ice cream …<\/p>\n

36. Favorite fast food restaurant?<\/strong>
\nSonic. Carls, Jr. Fatburger. Burger King.<\/p>\n

37. How many times did you fail your driver’s test?
\n<\/strong>None.<\/p>\n

38. From whom did you get your last email?<\/strong>
\nAmazon.com. Last person was my father-law.<\/p>\n

39. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
\n<\/strong>Fry’s. Or maybe Great Indoors. Or the Tattered Cover. Decisions, decisions …<\/p>\n

40. Do anything spontaneous lately?<\/strong>
\nNot so much Mr. Spontaneity, I fear.<\/p>\n

41. Like your job?
\n<\/strong>It has its moments. And, then, it has its moments.<\/p>\n

42. Broccoli?<\/strong>
\nA second-tier veggie. I’ll eat it, esp. as a vector for sauces, but I won’t go out of my way for it.<\/p>\n

43. What was your favorite vacation?
\n<\/strong>Traveling in the UK with Margie for a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

44. Last person you went out to dinner with?<\/strong>
\nMargie and Katherine, on Friday. Um … we went to The Counter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

45. What are you listening to right now?
\n<\/strong>The hum of the fridge, the computer, and the a\/c. Some of my favorite fans.<\/p>\n

46. What is your favorite color?<\/strong>
\nCobalt blue.<\/p>\n

47. How many tattoos do you have?
\n<\/strong>None. Unlikely, given my aversion to needles and fear of ending up with something very dated and undesired.<\/p>\n
