Maybe so.  Would it have stood <b>any<\/b> chance of getting past the GOP the way Cash for Clunkers barely did? We don&#8217;t want the a faceless bureaucrat in the Dept of Health and Human Services making medical decisions as to who deserves treatment.  We want a faceless bureaucrat at Aetna doing that.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/obsidianwings.blogs.com\/obsidian_wings\/2009\/08\/disintegration.html\">Disintegration<\/a> &#8211; Hiring mercenaries \/ private militarized security to do what we should be using professional military for has never seemed like a wise idea. But a former Navy chaplain? In about as land-locked a state as you can find?
