Never been before &#8212; some good exhibits there on&nbsp;Denver and state history. They&#8217;re moving into new quarters real soon now.<\/del> <em>[No, we didn&#8217;t &#8211; that was with Mary the previous weekend.]<\/em> <\/li>\n<li> <del datetime=\"2009-09-08T15:46:14+00:00\">Went over to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverartmuseum.org\/home\">Denver Art Museum<\/a>. Got stuck over on the <a href=\"http:\/\/denverarts.org\/local_news\/shuffling_the_deck_at_the_dam.html\">contemporary art side<\/a>. Even the cute &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverartmuseum.org\/collections\/objectDetails\/objectId--180641\">Fox Games<\/a>&#8221; couldn&#8217;t make up for it.<\/del> <em>[Nope, that was with Mary, too.]<\/em><\/li>\n<li> Dinner at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fogodechao.com\/\">Fogo de Chao<\/a>, downtown. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/3771509878\">Ohmygodtheyummy<\/a>. Plus, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/3773048900\">caiparinha<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Hung out.<\/li>\n<li> Had friends come over in the late afternoon for a &#8220;make your own burrito&#8221; grilling extravaganza. Lots of food, wine, fun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sunday<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Church.<\/li>\n<li> Hung out.<\/li>\n<li> Picked up stuff we&#8217;d done at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsonfirestudio.com\/\">Arts on Fire<\/a> last weekend with Mary. Margie&#8217;s blue glass plate is stunning, and could probably be resold for three times the cost (a cottage industry in case we ever need to supplement our income).<\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/3793359507\">Went to Doyce &amp; Kate&#8217;s<\/a> to play games, eat food, have <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/3820241979\">yet more fun<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Monday<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Went to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.botanicgardens.org\/\">Denver Botanic Gardens<\/a>&nbsp;for the first time in over a year. The new parking building is nearly complete (and partially open), the new visitor center likewise. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/3826351106\">Good time<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li> Ate dinner at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ilfornaio.com\/\">Il Fornaio<\/a>, which is doing a benefit menu this week for victims of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Abruzzo\">Abruzzo<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2009_L%27Aquila_earthquake\">earthquake<\/a>.
