Certainly there have been plenty of people who have used God (or their religious leaders, or their interpretation of Scripture, or the voices in their head) as an excuse for doing some pretty awful stuff.  When theists in general, and Christians specifically, can demonstrate convincingly that, as a group, they are more more moral people and better contributors to society &#8212; that they are demonstrably better &#8220;loving neighbors&#8221; than atheists, then they can start making claims; until then, they (we) have some beams in our eyes that need removing.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feeds.dailykos.com\/~r\/dailykos\/index\/~3\/jcAjFy9C8aE\/-ABC-calls-teabaggers-out-on-crowd-size-attribution\">ABC calls teabaggers out on crowd size attribution<\/a> &#8211; Y&#8217;know, it&#8217;s one thing to make a crowd size claim &#8212; everyone knows those are a bit flaky.
