Oh, and by the way, for something that is the be-all and end-all of Christianity, (a) the Ten Commandments are actually an Old Testament item, and (b) Jesus doesn’t go out of his way to place any focus on them, certainly not in any legalistic fashion. It seems to me, in fact, that Jesus teaching of the Greatest Commandments — to love the Lord God and to love your neighbor — can be seen as both a recap of the 10C and a tremendous expansion of them beyond Pharisee-like focus on the actual words of the Decalog. On the other hand, I do like the sentiment that “before we get too involved in battles over where they should be hung, we better make sure that for those who are of Christ, they’re hanging in our hearts first and foremost.”

Best of Parent Hacks: Halloween tips – Some clever ideas here.

Google Docs Become More Student-Friendly – Very clever (and useful) on Google’s part.

Honegar And 29 Other Dumb Inventions From The Mid-1900s [Bad Ideas] – Meh.
