So I’m converting over to Movable Type (link on the bar to the left, don’t bother me now). I’m already pleased by:<\/p>\n
a. My ability to do fun stuff I couldn’t do before (like a list of recent posts).<\/p>\n
b. The interface, which seems to have gotten slicker since v1.0, which was the last time I looked at this.<\/p>\n
Since it handles comments just fine (IMO), I’m dumping the PHP comments and reverting this to an HTML file (aaaahhhhhhh). Also, since MT seems to want to make the index file called INDEX, that’s what this will be, which means I need to change over the old DAVESBLOG.PHP record to forward on to this file.<\/p>\n
I also need to tweak the comments template. And the archive template, I would suspect. Templates.<\/p>\n
Plenty to do here, still, but I think I’ll cut over from Blogger. The main page seems to work, and that’s the important thing at the moment. And given Blogger’s flakiness of late, better sooner than later …<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
