{"id":1605,"date":"2001-12-04T21:05:36","date_gmt":"2001-12-05T02:05:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/wp\/?p=1605"},"modified":"2014-11-10T13:20:43","modified_gmt":"2014-11-10T20:20:43","slug":"the_magically_d","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2001\/12\/04\/the_magically_d.html","title":{"rendered":"The Magically Depopulated Kingdom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ongoing slump in Florida tourism is forcing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/business\/tourism\/orl-cfbtourism03120301dec03.story?coll=orl%2Dbusiness%2Dheadlines\">major cutbacks at Disneyworld<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, the saddest thing here was the description of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jmtravel.com\/newpage54.htm\">Port Orleans<\/a> resort, where we stayed in October at the Gartner Group symposium, as &#8220;mostly closed.&#8221;  We found Port Orleans to be a fine place, very scenic and quiet, with easy transportation (by land and water) to the various parts of the park.  If we were to go back, I&#8217;d strongly consider returning there.<\/p>\n<p>Hmmmm.
