Good thing there are plenty of others to visit.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/jontaplin.com\/2009\/11\/15\/war-taxes\/\">War &amp; Taxes \u00ab Jon Taplin\u2019s Blog<\/a> &#8211; If it&#8217;s important enough to spend lives on, it&#8217;s important enough to pony up the money for &#8212; IF the cost is recognized and factored in and paid for.  The current Iraq and Afghan conflicts have only continued so long because they&#8217;ve been largely off the books, adding to the debt while the GOP whines about NEA grants.  Read the linked-to sites &#8212; it costs about $1 million a year to deploy a single soldier overseas.  But like someone charging their splurges on credit cards, it doesn&#8217;t seem to cost any &#8220;real&#8221; money.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/joemygod.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/quote-of-day-antonin-scalia.html\">Quote Of The Day &#8211; Antonin Scalia<\/a> &#8211; Have to wonder if Antonin has considered how S. They finally got one right!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/obsidianwings.blogs.com\/obsidian_wings\/2009\/11\/when-hawks-collide.html\">When Hawks Collide<\/a> &#8211; &#8220;If new legislation aimed at bettering the lives of the American people has to be &#8220;paid for&#8221; by various revenue gathering\/cost cutting schemes, then so too should military spending initiatives such as the continuation of our military presence in Afghanistan and Iraq.&#8221;  Amen.
