But still working. And just realized I have some massive work-bits that need doing today. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6431965581\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sitting in the ER with Margie, who slipped and broke her ankle. \ud83d\ude41 <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6434936305\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Just as well I was working fr home today. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6435219218\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>So both tibia and fibula broken or something. Will require surgery, prolly after relo to St Joe&#8217;s (KP&#8217;s hospital in town). <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6436007255\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Am well-supplied with books and suduko for me and Margie. K already signed up for after-school care. Will figure out details once know plan. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6436087291\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>M&#8217;s being discharged from Littleton; apptmt downtown this afternoon with orthopod. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6438258177\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Surgery, bolts to ensue. Meanwhile, Oxycodone and Percocet are our friends! <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6438347768\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Okay, have arranged for neighbor (whose kids we sat over the weekend) to watch after K when she gets home, so we&#8217;re go for our apptmt. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6440832413\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Very glad, living in a country with no national health insurance, we have excellent personal coverage. Worry about money now would suck. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6441000296\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>At the clinic. Learning the wonders of wheelchairs. Wow &#8211; we get to apply for a temp handicap placard? <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6442783879\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Margie noted this would have been good time sink to plow through Xmas catalogs. Your patients are waiting in Room 3 &#8230; <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6444762300\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Multi x-rays later, off down street to St Joes to either get the foot splinted better or else emergency surgery tonight. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6446222178\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Early prognosis &#8211; off leg for 2 wks min, cast, crutches, PT, not recovered for 6 mos. Yikes. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6446911864\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Booted to the waiting room so med crew can sedate and reset M&#8217;s ankle, as Littleton did so poorly. Likely no surgery until next few days. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6448970000\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The ER Waiting Room needs a giant clock, ever-so-slowly ticking &#8230; off &#8230; the &#8230; seconds &#8230; <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6449294318\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Someone, somewhere around the ER here is (amateurishly) playing Christmas carols on a piano. Still nice. <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6449653521\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sedation and setting complete and copacetic. M being checked in, for surgery tomorrow a.m.  Yay! <a class=\"aktt_tweet_time\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/three_star_dave\/statuses\/6450960620\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Margie esconsed in room. Very tired (abd hungry) (me, too).
