I haven’t been blogging about Iraq, or WMDs<\/a>, or anything being attributed to Paul Wolfowitz<\/a>, or mass graves of children<\/a>, or other legacies of Saddam’s government<\/a>, or how the occupation\/liberation <\/a>is going, or anything like that.<\/p>\n

It’s not that I’m not reading about them.<\/p>\n

It’s not that I’m not interested in them.<\/p>\n

It’s not that I don’t have opinions about them.<\/p>\n

It’s just that I’m really not interested in talking about them at the moment. Not out of shame, or fear, or disgust, or righteousness, or anger. Just fatigue. I really don’t want to talk about it.<\/p>\n

Yet.<\/p>\n

And, after all, we’re going to be hearing about it for at least another 17 months. Why rush?<\/p>\n

UPDATE<\/u>: And, yes, I know that I’ve just talked about it. That’s the extent to which I want to, right now. And, yes, I’ve turned off the comments on this post. As I said, I don’t want to talk about it.
