BaB didn&#8217;t &#8220;politicize the topic of global climate change&#8221; &#8212; the folks who had an ideological hissy-fit over it did so.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/obsidianwings.blogs.com\/obsidian_wings\/2009\/12\/playing-with-half-a-deck.html\">Playing with Half a Deck<\/a> &#8211; I&#8217;m sure the GOP response is that Democrats \/ Liberals are governed by convenience and whimsy, rather than principle.  That, of course, is the problem.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/obsidianwings.blogs.com\/obsidian_wings\/2009\/12\/just-wars-and-detainees.html\">Just Wars and Detainees<\/a> &#8211; The connection between modern &#8220;illegal combatants&#8221; and US Civil War POWs is fascinating, telling, and shaming.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/ScienceblogsCombinedFeed\/~3\/_4yAAY_MEGY\/bachmann_on_government_welfare.php\">Bachmann on Government Welfare!
