The Right Wing’s Meaningless Manifesto<\/a> – Money quote, from one of its supporters: “It’s written so most conservatives can say, ‘Yeah, this is just what I think.’ ” Long on generality, short on policy detail, designed to suck in maximum conservative buy-in before getting to the nitty-gritty.<\/li>\n

U.S. kills civilians with GPS guided missile<\/a> – Granted that my experience is not with military-grade GPS, but it doesn’t seem to me that GPS is reliable enough to avoid this sort of thing from happening. An investigation is certainly in order, if only to understand the operating limitations of the HiMARS system. That said, any time artillery is being slapped around, even “precision” stuff, civilians are going to be killed.<\/li>\n
