Indiana High School Puts Graduation Prayer Up for a Vote; Valedictorian Sues<\/a> – The whole point of a constitution is that we are not<\/b> a pure democracy where whatever the majority wants it can impose. We have laws and restrictions and freedoms for all<\/b> that are protected by the Constitution. Putting it up for a vote is no more legitimate than having the student body decide whether to have an orgy after the graduation (something I suspect the pastor quoted would have a problem with).<\/li>\n
