Usually we sort of roll with the weather here at the Consortium.\u00a0 If it snows, it snows, and we just sort of bundle up, hang at home, and deal with it.<\/p>\n

The particular storm heading into Denver today<\/a>, though, is hitting with particularly unfortunate timing …<\/p>\n

First off, Margie’s folks, Jim & Ginger, are in mid-road trip here for Spring Break week.\u00a0 They slept over in Santa Fe last night at our favorite Inn on the Paseo<\/a>, and are headed up here today, heading north along I-25 as the storm heads south.<\/p>\n

Hrm.<\/p>\n

So we’re monitoring the<\/a> roads<\/a>, and staying in touch.\u00a0 Our best guess, based on what we hear, is that they’ll probably make it to Pueblo and stay there overnight, arriving here tomorrow instead.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kitten was scheduled for a sleepover tonight at a friend’s house.\u00a0 That’s still on, but we’ve already told her that if the school closes early due to snow, we’d like her to catch the school bus home rather than going home with Alana’s mom.\u00a0 Just more comfortable with her being at home on a snowpocalyptic night.\u00a0 If it is.<\/p>\n
