  1. Denver B-Cycle Ready to Roll<\/a> – This is very cool — and something I should make a note of as an alternative in some rare cases to trying to figure out how to make the LTR and 16th Street Mall bus work for me.<\/li>\n
  2. Being Human: The BBC’s Ghost-Vampire-Werewolf Comedy\/Drama is Coming to DVD and Blu-ray this Summer<\/a> – I’m still slowly plowing my way through it a bit at at time on the DVR. Good stuff, but it takes some attention.<\/li>\n
  3. Queue-less Disney Parks<\/a> – This has a lot of possibilities, and can be combined with the immerssive queue design (as at the lovely Indy attraction in Anaheim); I’d be willing just to patiently wander at leisure through that, waiting my turn …<\/li>\n
  4. Gargoyles, fonts, and anachronism, oh my!<\/a> – This is wonderful, and funny. And, yeah, just finished “Changeless” (a marvelous pun) the other day, and looking forward very much, thank you, to “Blameless,” which, I suspect, will be at least a double-entendre (and a good book).<\/li>\n
  5. Print is Eternal<\/a> – I met a traveller from an antique land
    Who said:\u2014Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
    Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
    Half sunk, a shatter’d visage lies, whose frown
    And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command

  6. The Secret of L.A.’s 10-Year-Old Fake Freeway Sign – Traffic – Jalopnik<\/a> – I remember when this sign was first installed, and noting what a good idea it was. That particular stretch of the 110 — from the 10 in the south to the 5 in the north, with the 101 crossing somewhere in the middle, and the whole conglomeration twisting around downtown LA — is just insane. If it were a Sim city setup, you’d bulldoze all of it and rebuild.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
