If nothing else, the Law of Unintended Consequences should always be paid attention to. That said, even though I think it’s a quixotic effort, I support this proposed amendment. Corporations and Labor Unions are not “people” who need to have their freedom of speech protected; indeed, I suspect the Founders (whom so many on the Right purport to adore) would be appalled by the very idea.<\/li>\n
