So the question of the hour (or, probably, a question to be discussed this week) is whether or not to do the Brew at the Zoo<\/a> again this year, coming up 10 September. Last year’s event was disappointing<\/a> in terms of crowds, wait times, and food\/drink running out.<\/p>\n

Prices are higher this year — $60 for members vs. $45 (what I noted) last year.<\/p>\n

I also note there’s a higher “preview” tier which gets you in earlier. (Is that why some of the booths ran out last time?)<\/p>\n

So … my inclination is, sadly, to give it a pass, though I’m willing to hear counter-arguments from the local contingent.\u00a0 And, alas, our busy summer to date meant we missed the more enjoyable Do at the Zoo back in June.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
