A woman hitchhiker travelled along with a trucker for six months before deciding to leave. Instead, he started beating her and holding her captive. She finally got assistance by scrawling a plea for help, with the truck number, on a bathroom wall<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When sherriffs used a GPS system to track the truck down at a rest stop, the woman was found dazed, with bruises, internal injuries, and hairline fractures all over.<\/p>\n

According to the trucking company, which noted that the driver and the woman had signed a form authorizing her as a rider in the truck back in January, “We don’t want to pass judgment until the facts are out, but it sounds like a lover’s spat rather than a kidnapping to me.”<\/p>\n
