Lots of folks are signing up for Micro$oft’s Passport service, which, as part of its .NET strategy, allows one-screen sign-in and check-out at web sites. Of course, the reason a lot of them are doing so is because Micro$oft makes it so inconvenient to not<\/i> do it<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, it will become even more popular — and more profitable for M$ — if the US Government adopts it <\/a>as the sign-in technology for its web sites.<\/p>\n
