And while there is more to educational quality than graduation rates (though that&#8217;s one indicator), I&#8217;d argue that any relative decline in educational standards vs. the world comes not from federal involvement (which has had its up and downs) but by the systematic starving of the public school system by religious and fiscal ideologues.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/1GYRACOADSY\/025524.php\">Brewer to Arizona: no more debates for you<\/a> &#8211; Enough with all these pesky journalistic questions! Off with their heads!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/vTOPTj-Mdok\/025520.php\">Gingrich and his big-government solutions<\/a> &#8211; &#8220;So, to summarize, one of the Republicans&#8217; leading far-right voices wants big government to intervene to prevent development of private property, as part of a larger effort to deny Americans their religious liberty. We have a master Vacation list (in Google Docs) of packing items and pre-vacation activities (set up house-sitter, suspend mail, turn off computers) that we use religiously.  A great way to get rid of that &#8220;did we forget anything?&#8221; worry.
