Yowzers.<\/p>\n<p><b>1. What daily ritual does it seem like you&#8217;ve done too many times this week? <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Turned off my alarm clock at 5 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. What random stranger made you mad this week? Why?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The idiot who programmed the stupid lack of snooze interval on the Date Book alarm on my Palm, the results of which was that I ended up being late for my vision appointment Monday (no changes over the last 3.5 years, huzzah), and had to return on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p><b>3. If you could have a lifetime supply of one comfort food that&#8217;s always ready when you want\/need it, what would you want to nibble on for eternity?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mothers &#8220;Taffy&#8221; cookies.  In times of great stress, I can eat an entire bag of these.  Or two.<\/p>\n<p><b>4. Scream. As loud as you can. There, now. Doesn&#8217;t that feel better?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Uh, no.  I don&#8217;t want to wake up the baby, or startle the wife.<\/p>\n<p><small>(Via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bears-cave.com\/archive\/2002_04.php#895\">Doyce<\/a>)<\/small><\/p>\n<p>But &#8230; wait &#8230; Doyce&#8217;s questions were different.  Where did he get them from?  Ah, well, here&#8217;s the Doyce&#8217;s <b>Wednesday Whinge<\/b> &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><b>Who is\/was your least favorite authority figure (i.e. teacher, manager, guidance counselor)?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Coach Whozits in 9th Grade who, when he wasn&#8217;t coaching dimwitted football players had to teach Geography, and decided to make the class an exercise in memorization.  The only thing I remember (since I am not a memorization kind of person, believe it or not) is that the principle export of Portugal is cork.  I hated that class, and I <i>love<\/i> maps and stuff like that, so you know he did a particularly piss-poor job.  <\/p>\n<p>Screw you, Coach Whozits.<\/p>\n<p><b>What one thing do you wish people would just accept about you? (e.g. &#8211; What are you sick of justifying or explaining to everyone?)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I read at lunch.  I read while walking to and from lunch.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yes, this <i>is<\/i> a damn good book, just like you say it must be.&#8221;  &#8220;Well, I&#8217;ll tell you what I&#8217;m reading if you tell me what you were just conversing about with your friend.&#8221;  &#8220;Why, yes, this <i>is <\/i>a good book, thank you for making that original observation.&#8221;  &#8220;My peripheral vision is quite good, so I don&#8217;t worry too much about walking in front of a car, thank you.&#8221;  &#8220;Yes, a really good book, clever of you to guess that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Get over it, folks.<\/p>\n<p><b>If you could confront one person with no consequences, who would it be?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I am not a confrontational guy.  So that&#8217;s a really tough one.  Hrm.<\/p>\n<p>No, probably not <i>her<\/i>.  What would be the point?<\/p>\n<p>George W. Bush.  Since the only way it would be safe to do so would be if there were magically no consequences.  <\/p>\n<p><b>I just caught you daydreaming &#8230; where were you and what were you doing?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I was off at home doing something fun on my computer.  Like doing stuff for my game&#8217;s web page, or for my blog.  Something fun.  More fun that doing budgets.
