Like you could just click a button, and say, &#8220;Hey, I like the posts Joe-Bob makes on Movies, Work, and Cheese, but I wish to God I didn&#8217;t even have to scroll past the stuff on <i>Highlander<\/i> or his That Damned Governor Who Doesn&#8217;t Know His Ass from a Hole in the Ground.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, me, too.<\/p>\n<p>Heck, probably have some readers who wish the same thing about this site, too.  &#8220;If Dave posts one more thing about Iraq\/his kid\/his church\/gaming\/comic books, I&#8217;m going to not only delete him from my blogroll, I&#8217;m going to drive his Internet host into bankruptcy so that he never posts anything again.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, if we only read stuff we agreed with, we&#8217;d never change our minds.  And if we read only read stuff we liked, we&#8217;d &#8212; well, it would feel like we&#8217;re not in school any more.  And we&#8217;re <i>always <\/i>in school, kids &#8230; that&#8217;s sort of the whole point of this particular exercise known as life.<\/p>\n<p>Still, sometimes I wish &#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Don&#8217;tcha wish certain blogs had filters?
