Our Safeway was out of the kind we like, or they had reorganized it someplace we couldn&#8217;t find, or something.  So we went by Toys &#8216;R&#8217; Us.  With Katherine.<\/p>\n<p>And exited with &#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Six tubes of diaper cream.\n<li>Four Diaper Genie refills.\n<li>A potty seat\/footstool thing (since Katherine&#8217;s beginning to show interest in the concept).\n<li>A pair of sandals and a pair of shoes for Katherine.\n<li>A little plastic chair that&#8217;s just Kitten-sized.\n<li>Three grown-up games (<i>Guesstures<\/i>, <i>Beyond Balderdash<\/i>, and <i>Battle of the Sexes<\/i>).<\/ul>\n<p>Expensive diaper cream.<\/p>\n<p>On the bright side, walking out, we saw an incredibly beautiful sunset sky.  Pale blues that faded into pale greens next to vivid peach tones so luminous it made me hungry for desert.<\/p>\n<p>I love living here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All we needed was diaper cream.
