And, remarkably, some in the GOP will welcome him back with open arms.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/mjgFPW4bL9s\/Do-you-have-a-right-to-a-job-home-or-health-care\">Do you have a &#8216;right&#8217; to a job, home, or health care?<\/a> &#8211; Actually, I agree with the premise of the article &#8212; we throw around the term &#8220;rights&#8221; too loosely.  But I believe our society (as instantiated by our government, which is us) have a <b>responsibility<\/b> to make sure that all people are fed, sheltered, and cared for (at least to the point of not dying from neglect).  That may irk those who take the &#8220;I got mine, you go screw,&#8221; but that&#8217;s what I believe.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/5ac_MuiXJto\/fcc-approves-comcastnbc-universal-me\">FCC Approves Comcast\/NBC Universal Merger<\/a> &#8211; Apparently there are some provisions to mitigate some potential problems, but those sorts of things not only just beg for being worked around, they rapidly grow stale and fail to protect against UNanticipated problems.  I think this will make only the NBC and Comcast shareholders happy, short- and long-term.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/dDPnBMW2pIU\/wolves.html\">Wolves<\/a> &#8211; Heh.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/xk0wUOhffJ8\/tron-ancestry-t-shir.html\">Tron: Ancestry T-Shirt<\/a> &#8211; That is quite spiffy.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/R6rg8rydq5I\/new-report-finds-129-million-americans.html\">New report finds 129 million Americans under 65 have a pre-existing condition<\/a> &#8211; &#8220;So, this week, the GOPers are taking on 129 million Americans under 65 and their families. That sounds like it should be, using the GOP&#8217;s terminology, a political job-killer.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/glLyFLQimTw\/its_so_easy_to_make_him_mad.php\">It&#8217;s so easy to make him mad!<\/a> &#8211; The idea that &#8220;They disagree with me, therefore they are The Enemy&#8221; is, alas, a longstanding tradition amongst the religious conservative set in this country.  Facts have nothing to do with it &#8212; it&#8217;s all &#8220;you&#8217;re either with us, or you&#8217;re against us&#8221; &#8230; hmmm, where have I heard that before?<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/MiL4nATj72o\/\">Robert Downey, Jr. Voicing Mr. Peabody in DreamWorks\u2019 \u2018Peabody and Sherman\u2019<\/a> &#8211; I would so dearly love this to be wonderful. I mean, really. That said, these top-down command-and-control documents always seem to come off way less as having concerned conflicts over moral issues and way more as mandating cover-ups, message-spinning, and stonewalling.
