Government databases are inevitably filled with errors &#8212; and rarely are there effective ways of correcting those errors. We&#8217;ve seen it with travel security lists, and E-Verify is little different, except it&#8217;s keeping people from getting jobs.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/bRlQu0ewejA\/027984.php\">A little knowledge goes a long way: Steve Benen<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/bCcRGUCVeDI\/\">Despite Earmark Ban, Boehner Brings Home Pork-Barrel Defense Project That Pentagon Doesn\u2019t Want: Zaid Jilani<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/pvvar5SCWHw\/\">Tangled\u2019s Secret Box Office Weapon<\/a> &#8211; I don&#8217;t buy it.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/Q1JO8ysYMhg\/telegraph-mubarak-used-last-18-days-to.html\">Telegraph:  Mubarak used last 18 days to secure his fortune<\/a> &#8211; Well, of course.  But, then, if he&#8217;s out, that&#8217;s a big boon ongoing.  And the money can be pursued &#8230;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/RsOUqmUpDGA\/alaska-warming-at-three-times-rate-of.html\">Alaska warming at three times the rate of the lower 48<\/a> &#8211; It&#8217;s not real! And if it&#8217;s real, it&#8217;s not man-made! And if it&#8217;s man-made it would be too unprofitable to do anything about it!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/D5bUWEB_JN8\/shirley-sherrod-suing-andrew-breitbart.html\">Shirley Sherrod suing Andrew Breitbart<\/a> &#8211; Law suits against political commentators is certainly something that I&#8217;d be very cautious about.  On the other hand, Breitbart offered his info as fact, not opinion.  It was not.  And it was clearly defamatory.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/Apu1YfFW4Gg\/\">We Love Our Government Spending<\/a> &#8211; &#8220;Once you start to talk specifics, the public\u2019s aversion to government spending rapidly evaporates.&#8221; The public needs to make its feelings known here.  The general sense of &#8220;we need cuts&#8221; is getting down to the brass tacks of &#8220;what are we going to cut.&#8221; If people don&#8217;t want to see certain things cut, they need to provide that feedback loud and clear (and even then it may be too late).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/ToCFVn9OVB0\/\">Homeopathy Overdose Befuddles Homeopaths<\/a> &#8211; Homeopathy is a scam, or at least no more scientifically based than faith healing.  It&#8217;s harmless &#8230; save for the money people waste on it and the harm done by people not actually getting effective treatment for their diseases.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/pqjMyGcB48M\/027982.php\">A simple question that deserved a simple answer<\/a> &#8211; Certainly politicians don&#8217;t have the responsibility to tell people what to <b>think<\/b> (though politicians of all stripes frequently do just that).  But this is just weasel-words from Boehner.  We all, especially our leaders, have a responsibility to the truth, and to speak out when harmful falsehoods are being spread.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/wVJ8Hdb7biE\/\">Everyone wins!<\/a> &#8211; This makes so much sense.
