1. Rodney King, 20 years later – CNN.com – An interesting restrospective.

 2. Texas immigration bill has big exception – CNN.com – It’s all about focusing on “big businesses”? Bosh. It’s all about annoying folks who can afford (undocumented) housekeepers and gardeners and handymen. Bloody hypocrites.

 3. Poll suggests problems for GOP with budget cuts – Part of this is folks not wanting their own ox to be gored, but big part of it is also that the cut-spending-at-all-costs mantra is vocally supported by a small group (and financially supported by a smaller group that will profit from it).

 4. Ohio’s Radical Anti-Union Bill Also Has A Hidden Provision To Deny Equal Rights To Same-Sex Couples – Stay classy, Ohio!

 5. Opera browser gets an over-17 rating in Mac App Store, reacts in good humor — Engadget

 6. Noahpinion: Why conservatives hate trains – There is a certain constraint to trains compared to being able to hypothetically hop in your car at any moment, drive directly to where you want when you want to be there, etc. There are times when I drive in (or drive mostly in) to work, rather than taking the train. But it’s black or white thinking to suggest that having a train system — commuter rail, light rail, high-speed rail — is some sort of binary decision, and if we support rail we have to get rid of our highways. Bosh. What we can’t do is continue to build wider and more highways, put more single drivers into inefficient cars, and find more places to try and park them. Cars aren’t going away, but finding ways to supplement them with greater efficiency for the folks who can use it makes a lot of sense.

 7. Blade Runner Sequel (or Prequel) in Development Now [Movies] – I seriously doubt this will end well … as a cinematic effort.

 8. Oh hey, Murbarak. Nice pinstripes. Wait, what? Oh shit, those… – “Some serious despot swag.”

 9. Marauding Gay Hordes Drag Thousands Of Helpless Citizens From Marriages After Obama Drops Defense Of Marriage Act | The Onion – I’m waiting for Bryan Fischer (dolt) to cite this as a real story.
