  4. The Dark Knight Returns getting animated feature?<\/a> – DC animators have played a lot with Dark Knight Returns imagery over the years — I don’t think there’s a problem with seeing an actual animated feature (I can point to at least three others at least as dark and violent).<\/li>\n
  5. Arizona\u2019s Birther bill goes from stupid to batshit crazy.<\/a> – In. Sane.<\/li>\n
  6. Teabagger Rep. Allen West: GOP leaders need “a come-to-Jesus with themselves”<\/a> – An actual meeting with Jesus would probably be of some value, yes.<\/li>\n
  7. Montenegro National Anthem<\/a> – That’s … um … epic. In a Conan the Barbarian kind of way. Or maybe more Thulsa Doom …<\/li>\n

President Obama – Open Mic – You Think We’re Stupid? | VIDEO | Mediaite<\/a> – Interesting … though, to be fair, he was speaking to the faithful about his discussions with the GOP, not with GOP House members themselves. If that’s the way he’s talking with them, excellent. But I’ll believe it when I see a bit more action to go with the rhetoric.<\/li>\n
  9. How did dinosaurs have sex?<\/a> – And now you know … maybe.<\/li>\n
  10. Who\u2019s Serious Now? – NYTimes.com<\/a> – “What happened over the past two weeks, then, was more about staking out positions than about enacting policies. On one side you had a combination of mean-spiritedness and fantasy; on the other you had a reaffirmation of American compassion and community, coupled with fairly realistic numbers. Which would you choose?”<\/li>\n
  11. Your Taxpayer Receipt<\/a> – This seems like a remarkably clever idea. Most people have no idea where their money goes (except to “Those Underserving Others Over There”). This helps correct that, as well as show the relative proportions of the pie taken by different programs. Heck, it would be a worthwhile program to actually mail (or email) one of these back to every individual who submits a federal tax return.<\/li>\n
