But the same can be said for any religious <b>or<\/b> social imposition of dress codes (including clothing at all) or other social controls on the behavior of men and women.  If people choose to voluntarily adhere to such, I would tread carefully before telling them they can&#8217;t. (That doesn&#8217;t remove the need of government, with at least some accommodation, to get photo IDs.)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/KqMZqUgYEC0\/pelosis_hypocrisy_on_osama.php\">Pelosi&#8217;s Hypocrisy on Osama<\/a> &#8211; Certainly OBL was used for political gameplaying all over the spectrum.  That said, I&#8217;m glad he&#8217;s gone, and let&#8217;s move on to the next problem.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/rETKz8dfkIc\/whats-high-school-for.html\">What&#8217;s high school for?<\/a> &#8211; Certainly all lessons (and many values) worth learning.  Alas, hard to test for, which means it won&#8217;t suit our eductation system or our politicians.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/xaZVyGivhE8\/amazons-jeff-bezos-invests-in-nuclear-fusion-technology\">Nuclear Fusion In Four Years? Amazon&#8217;s Jeff Bezos Is Betting On It<\/a> &#8211; I&#8217;ve been a fan of fusion as a long-term goal since my old high school debate days, and would love to see this happen (though I don&#8217;t give it high chances). Fusion plants do, btw, produce some low-level radioactive waste (the actual chambers themselves),  but nothing like the spent fuel issue of fission reactors (or, for that matter, the ecological output of coal mining and burning, etc.).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/czFtqf_65yQ\/\">GOP Rep.
