{"id":21254,"date":"2011-06-13T06:34:14","date_gmt":"2011-06-13T12:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/?p=21254"},"modified":"2011-06-13T06:34:14","modified_gmt":"2011-06-13T12:34:14","slug":"best-spam-of-the-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2011\/06\/13\/best-spam-of-the-day.html","title":{"rendered":"Best spam of the day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-21255\" title=\"Spam!\" src=\"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/spam.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"104\" height=\"104\" \/>This came through under the subject line: <strong> SCAMERS HAVE CONFESSED,THAT THEY STOLE YOUR MONEY<\/strong> (sic).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Federal Government of Cotonou Benin through provisions in Section  419 of the Criminal Code came up with punitive measures to deter and  punish offenders.<\/p>\n<p>The Advance Fee Fraud section deal mainly with cases of advance<br \/>\nfee fraud(commonly called 419) such as obtaining by false pretence through<br \/>\ndifferent fraudulent schemes e.g. contract scam, credit card scam,<br \/>\ninheritance scam, job scam, loan scam, lottery scam, \u201cwash wash\u201d scam (money<br \/>\nwashing scam), marriage scam. Immigration scam, counterfeiting and religious<br \/>\nscam. It also investigates cyber crime cases.<\/p>\n<p>This is to officially announce to you that some scam Syndicates were<br \/>\napprehended in Cotonou Benin few days ago and after <strong>several interrogations<br \/>\nand tortures <\/strong>your details were among those mentioned by some of the scam<br \/>\nSyndicates as one of the victims of their operations.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Torture &#8230; even scammers who are pretending to fight scammers are doing it.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>After proper investigations and research at Western Union Money Transfer and<br \/>\nMoney Gram office to know if you have truly sent money to the scam<br \/>\nSyndicates through Western Union Money Transfer or Money Gram, your name  was found in Western Union Money Transfer database amongst those that  have sent money through Western Union Money Transfer to Nigeria and  Cotonou Benin this proves that you have truly been swindled by those  unscrupulous persons by sending money to them in the course of getting  one fund or the other that is not real.<\/p>\n<p>Right now we are working hand in hand with Western Union and Interpol to<br \/>\ntrack every fraudsters down, do not respond to their e-mails, letters and<br \/>\nphone calls any longer they are scammers and you should be very careful to<br \/>\navoid being a victim to fraudsters any longer because they have nothing to<br \/>\noffer you but to rip-off what you have worked hard to earn.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes. A word to the wise is sufficient.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In this regard a meeting was held between the Board of Directors of The<br \/>\nEconomic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and as a consequence of our<br \/>\ninvestigations it was agreed that the sum of five milion three hundred  thousand US Dollars (US$5.3m,should be transferred to you out of the  funds \u00a0due to you from Federal Government of Nigeria and Benin Republic.<\/p>\n<p>We have deposited your fund at Western Union Money Transfer agent location<br \/>\nEMS Post office Cotonou Benin Republic.
