Having <a href=\"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2011\/07\/14\/book-review-a-\u2026burroughs-1912.html\">re-read its pulpy goodness<\/a> earlier this year, this trailer is interested in what it&#8217;s not. \u00a0It&#8217;s not a quick-cut, action-slam-packed, pulpy quasi-Conan.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, it&#8217;s got some thoughtfulness, some \u00a0beauty, some strangeness. \u00a0That may have to do, in part, with where they are in the CG process (the movie doesn&#8217;t open until next March), but regardless, it&#8217;s surprising. \u00a0And it looks <em>good<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m cautiously optimistic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is &#8230; interesting.
