On Biking, Why Can\u2019t the U.S. Learn Lessons from Europe?<\/a> – What the article makes clear is that it’s not solely a matter of government action (making bike lanes), but the culture as a whole — from people accepting biking as a means of transportation, to buildings (apartments and office buildings alike) accommodating bikes.<\/li>\n
  2. Could the iPod Be On Its Deathbed?<\/a> – Part of the problem may be that there aren’t compelling reasons to buy a new<\/b> MP3 player, and if the market is saturated that’s going to slow down sales. Personally, I’m not sure I want to conflate my smartphone with my music playing (the former is complex technology that I refresh every few years; the latter is for me a long-term archive to provide portability to my music). Sure, the various music cloud projects offer another answer — but the cloud is still not nearly as ubiquitous as folks would like to think\/sell.<\/li>\n
