And then there&#8217;s the stuff Mike Adams talks about &#8230;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/OtQJwGknrfM\/\">Corporate Censorship \u2013 The Challenge<\/a> &#8211; I am certainly against the government punishing people for their political or social or religious  viewpoints.  On the other end of the spectrum, I believe that it&#8217;s perfectly legitimate for people to choose to interact (or not) with others based on what those others say (you have every right not to invite someone to dinner who rants at length every time about some hot button topic you disagree with them on). In the middle is the muddy field of where what you say and do on your outside your job has a potential effect on your work and employer, some of which cases are clearer cut than others.  I agree in principle that what you do off the job and on the job are two separate things &#8212; but I can see where in some specific cases folks might be concerned.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/XeOz48auXyQ\/tea-party-nation-obama-ineligible-serve-gay\">Tea Party Nation: Obama Ineligible To Serve, Gay<\/a> &#8211; &#8220;A sudden, covert ascendance to power seemingly assisted by foreign-like forces as an assault on vintage American conscience.&#8221;  Wow, this litany of alleged crimes is a huge flash-to-the-past from when it was all about Bill Clinton. We&#8217;ve got drugs, murder, sex, theft, suicide, the whole nine, conspiratorial miles.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/OjWzjr8yje0\/\">Majority Opposes Any Cuts to Medicare or Social Security<\/a> &#8211; Pretty much every survey has said this.  And the TPers, the Corporate Sponsored Congresscritters, and the Compromisistas will ignore it.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/0gFD_p6gCqE\/\">Late Night: Professional Climate Change Denialist Issues Climate Change  Denying Study, Wingnuts Rejoice<\/a> &#8211; I don&#8217;t want to presume the message is false because the messenger is a biased nutcase &#8230; but I&#8217;ll wait until it&#8217;s undergone some decent scientific review before giving it any serious consideration.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/7RZSPFoCO0A\/gIQA5NHJhI_blog.html\">Judge orders Nixon grand jury testimony unsealed &#8211; Crime Scene &#8211; The Washington Post<\/a> &#8211; Cool.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/04AMvCcs9zw\/\">Unshakable R(Es)ults<\/a> &#8211; We have a couple of rice cookers.  I get paranoid about measuring the rice vs. water.  Margie uses the knuckle method for the water.  Guess whose rice turns out better? (A. Which does give me a <i>slight<\/i> bit of pause<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/vGPcVUpJ000\/house-republicans-are-not-just-do-no\">House Republicans are not just do-nothings &#8212; they&#8217;re spinning their wheels  furiously<\/a> &#8211; Are they simply throwing these bills out there, hoping that something might stick? Are they clearing off debts to their TP (and Corporate) supporters, or do they really believe this jazz?  Are they trying to build up their Conservative Cred for future elections or campaigns?
